Fast & Furious heading for $122 million

“Fast & Furious 6” is living up to its title — and then some. estimates it will make $98,528,000 Friday, Saturday and Sunday, amassing $122,177,000 by the end of Monday.
This is the biggest debut for the franchise, now starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson, and makes it the second biggest opening of the year behind “Iron Man 3.” It also notched those numbers without benefit of 3-D, which always adds millions to a release. 
“The Hangover Part III” is expected to earn $42,415,000 for Friday through Sunday, with the long holiday weekend forecast for $52,000,000, putting its running total at $63,800,000 (since it had early showings Wednesday and opened Thursday).
“Star Trek Into Darkness” — $38,000,000 for Friday through Sunday, $48,000,000 for Friday through Monday, which would make for $156,827,000. 
“Epic” — $34,200,000 for Friday through Sunday, $44,000,000 for Friday through Monday. 
“Iron Man 3” — $19,424,000 through Sunday, $24,619,000 through Monday, for a projected $372,701,000 in North America since release. 
The balance of the top 10:
6. “The Great Gatsby” — $13,705,000 for Friday through Sunday. It already has crossed the $100 million mark. 
7. “Mud” — $1,928,190.
8. “42” — $1,245,000.
9. “The Croods” — $1,215,000.
10. “Oblivion” — $815,000.
