'Pain & Gain' No. 1; 'Iron Man 3' hit overseas

“Pain & Gain” muscled its way to the top spot at the box office with an estimated $20 million, edging out “Oblivion” which continues to draw moviegoers as does “42.” 
 
The biggest news may have come from elsewhere, though, as “Iron Man 3” took in $195.3 million in 42 international territories. It will arrive in the States at most theaters Thursday night at 9 or shortly after. 
 
Here is how the weekend stacked up, courtesy of hollywood.com which will update the figures on Monday:

2. “Oblivion” — $17,443,200, for $64,730,700 since release.
3. “42” — $10,725,00, or $69,079,000 in three weeks. 
4. “The Big Wedding” — $7,500,000.
5. “The Croods” — $6,600,000, for $163,024,783 to date. 
6. “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” — $3,620,000, nudging its gross to $116,396,000.
7. “Scary Movie V” —$3,457,000, for $27,493,936 so far. 
8. “Olympus Has Fallen” — $2,768,000, for $93,076,472 in six weeks. 
9. “The Place Beyond the Pines” — $2,699,140 or $16,204,863 and still on less than half of the screens of the top draws.
10. “Jurassic Park” — $2,310,000, or $42,000,375 since re-release in 3-D and 2-#. 
11. “Mud” — $2,185,980. 
12. “Evil Dead” — $2,000,000, bring its total to $51,868,000.
