FREE Sneak Peak on the Big Screen – Sundance Channel’s "Rectify" on April 16 at 8 p.m. at the Regent Square Theater
From the producers of “Breaking Bad,” this premiere of a new dramatic series will be screened simultaneously in 20 cities across the country in select art house theaters – including the Regent Square Theater, 1035 South Braddock Ave.
This first scripted series produced by the Sundance Channel, it’s the story of Daniel Holden (Aden Young from “The Starter Wife”) released from prison after 19 years on Death Row.
His release reopens the mystery, the political power plays in a small Georgia town, and the questionable justice that condemned him. There will be a nationwide Q & A via Skype following the 2-hour premiere with the director (Ray McKinnon), producers, and cast members.
HOW TO GET TICKETS: Up to 4 free tickets will be available on a first come-first served basis, beginning April 2 (today!) at the Regent Square Theater box office (when the theater is open), or at Pittsburgh Filmmakers front desk (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday).
THE DAY OF THE SHOW: Doors will open at 7:15 p.m. on night of the event; those with tickets will be seated first. At 7:45 p.m., if seats remain, those in line will be seated.
