'Croods' tops box office, 'Olympus' falls to 2nd

Once again, a family film and one with the 3-D option topped the box office. 
“The Croods" (above), featuring the voices of Nicolas Cage, Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds, was the No. 1 movie of the week with $44,700,000, according to
“Olympus Has Fallen” broke the streak of underperforming R-rated action movies, pulling in $30,500,000, which is more than expected. Here is how the box office shapes up: 
1. “The Croods” — $44,700,000.
2. “Olympus Has Fallen” — $30,500,000.
3. “Oz the Great and Powerful” — $22,031,000, bringing its North American gross to $177,559,000 so far. 
4. “The Call” — $8,700,000, for $30,904,000 to date.
5. “Admission” — $6,445,650. 
6. “Spring Breakers” — $5,000,000.
7. “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone” — $4,275,000, for $17,365,000 so far. 
8. “Jack the Giant Slayer” — $2,965,000, for $59,052,000 since release. 
9. “Identity Thief” — $2,545,050, nudging it to $127,726,995. 
10. “Snitch” — $1,930,000, or $40,342,549 since debut.
