De Palma, Pacino to team on Paterno pic?
Deadline.com is reporting that Brian De Palma ("Scarface") will reunite with Al Pacino for "Happy Valley," the working title of a film about the late Joe Paterno. Pacino had been linked to the role for months but this moves the ball toward the goal posts, so to speak.
The report comes days before the first anniversary of Paterno's death after his tragic fall from grace, firing and cancer diagnosis.
The movie would be based on the book "Paterno" by Joe Posnanski. Here's what PG columnist Gene Collier said about the book in August:

Pacino next will be seen in "Stand Up Guys" as a gangster fresh from prison after 28 years who reunites with old pals played by Christopher Walken and Alan Arkin.
