PSO concertmaster to play at Pittsburgh Pirates opening day

Written by Andrew Druckenbrod on .

@pghsymphony The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra's excellent concertmaster Noah Bendix-Balgley will perform at PNC Park for Pittsburgh Pirates Opening Day on April 1!

This is no April Fools joke. I love the idea. It is soooooo important for the PSO to let the greater public know about it and about the level at which it operates. He will play the National Anthem and "God Bless America" just before first pitch between the Pirates and the Chicago Cubs.
