She was the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra's Director of Marketing.

It is with mixed emotions that I share Yu-Ling Cheng is leaving the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra (PSO). Over the last five weeks, we have been working together on a smooth transition for her departure which is Friday, March 15th.
Yu-Ling joined the PSO in 2004 as Director of Marketing before being promoted to Vice President of Audience Development and Sales in 2010. She has worked with nearly everyone on staff at one time or another, supporting her department’s goals as well as institutional goals. Highlights of her tenure include leading her team in increasing earned revenue and average ticket price, implementing dynamic pricing, making Heinz Hall accessible through the KDKA Open Houses, overseeing the launch of social media. Through the Executive MBA program at the Wharton Business School, Yu-Ling completed two independent studies for the PSO, the first in human resources and the second in dynamic pricing. She also co-chaired (with Kevin DeLuca and Jessica Schmidt) the staff campaign for the Commitment to ExcellenceCampaign, which successfully reached 100% participation.
